Help! i cant get my bard to play his play for the quest with the peasants in the sims medieval?

have you picked an actor or actress? you have to choose someone for playing a play. doing this by choosing a sim>bard>ask to be actor/actress the game ask are you sure you want to choose this sim pick yes and then you can click on the platform to play a play (in the tavern)
