Do Americans realize that most of America's oil does NOT come from the middle east?

i've alwasy noticed that too. sometimes you hear some idiot saying "80% of our oil comes from the middle east". the thing is though is 10% loss of oil would make gas prices shoot up to 6 or 7 dollars a gallon probably. BUT Obama has been talking about offshore driling in the atlantic which if we do enough of then we could mabey get rid of all our imported oil from places other than north america. and these wars aren't "pointless" we went to iraq to get rid of suddam Hussien, check. install a democratic governement in Iraq, in progress. kill Osama Bin Laden, big check. and get back at the rest of thoes dirty terrorist that caused 9/11, close but no cigar
